| While we're waiting for my SLK and the wife's Vue, we decided to rent. Wanting to stay in Mercedes fashion, we rented a B180 (diesel). While I love the mpg I'm getting with the diesel, it's definately NOT the SLK. I don't mean just in handling and such, it feels like any other car. It must be the basic model, because there really isn't anything to it the lends itself to be a Mercedes, except for the badging. I guess even MB has to make models that don't jump out at you. I do like the 6 speed, though I have to make myself remember it's there sometimes....yearning for my R170...
