a gentleman in his clk230k decided to flash at me for not going fast enough down a slip road. so when he was along side me at the next roundabout leading onto a dual carriageway i thought id put pedal to carpet after giving him a wave. then i slowed waited for him and gunned it again. was way too easy.

then about a week later i was cut up by another gentleman in an SL55, really close to an accident, i beeped at him and flashed with anger (stupid i know), chased him and then he put his foot down, felt like i was in reverse. i mean i know 50mph is when the sl55 gets in its stride but seriously it was silly quick

There is a time for adrenaline and a time to cruise..One can do both

...the sl55 is a torque machine...you would have had him on a platter if corners were involved though...better luck next time vin....(you need a supercharger kit...

)

hey -1- i understand ur road racing concerns and trust me im not like that. just if someone is arsey i just try and squirt past them if u know what i mean- nothing more.

Interesting, I've always wanted to know how bad I would get whipped by a SLK55. But life in the SLK350 is all about relaxing and enjoying your surroundings. I've took it autox a few times and it was fun. NASA track days are over here in the Rockies unless I want to drive to Nebraska, which is too far away, the last track day event is with BMWCCA, I might do that with my bro's M3. Take your anger to the track, helps blow off some steam.
