I saw 4 of my cars in those pics Bill. Well, I'm sure they're not the exact ones, fairly certain they're still in OH, but who knows?

Check out all those wonderful REAL colors on those cars! They look alive! Look how different each one looks from the other! Yellow, green, blue, brown, etc. Sure, Lime Green or Lemon Yellow may not look all that mean, but hey!

I LOVE the yellow on the Cutlass! I miss my old '72 girl, sorta. Nice to cruise around in, but drove like a boat. Spin the wheel and 3 minutes later she stars turning the curve, scraping door handles on the way! Oh, and the '68 Plymouth Fury near it. Nothing said evil like the front end on that car!

Good job on the 'stang, but did you really freak him out and take him for a ride? Even I find the hopped up Mustang like V8 sound with the lack of shaking and rattling disconcerting. It's just not usual to find that sound and performance and have the car feel like it was well built. At least not for someoen raised on muscle cars.

Well, it's night time presence should be right up your ally, right? All your vehicles are black?

At the temperatures you reach, won't your ass be welded to the fender if you lean up against your car after you left it out in the sun all day?

I'd leave the Caspian Blue out in the sun all day, just to keep gazing on it's beautiful color in the brightness.

, I like Black its formal but has its disadvantages as you mentioned typically in our weather but I can bare and pay the price for getting a black car.

Actually my SLK55 isnt black black , as it shifts to a moody dark brown with little golden sparkles at sunlight.

Heat isnt a major issue to me even if I dont park my car in the shade, the solution is to lower the windows slightly and put a windscreen to reflect the sunlight. Before leaving to home, I would wait 3 minutes until the hot air leaves the car.

I have never seen the mocha black in real life. Let's face it, those cheesy little paint chips in the back of the brochures do nothing to represent ANY of the colors as they actually look on the cars. I wish Mercedes-Benz would do like Cadillac and get the big chunks of colors at the dealers so you can really get a feel for the color.

I never have to wait three minutes as I find the the AC's super high turn on mode helps gets things going down faster. I just wish they offered A/C'd seats. I hate leather, especially when you're wearing a suit.

I agree, It was hard to choose the colours as the sample was small and didnt reflect that much but in real life its fantastic.

Not the stang driver, but did have an f-body owning friend riding shot gun with me last cruise night - he was a little nervous at times yup! But I'll be riding shotgun with him next time out so he can even the score *L*.

Re Caspian Blue and old car colours - they do stand out from that era no doubt. But the Caspian Blue does get lots of kudos from those same owners believe it or not - it's shade shifting ability from blue to green to black is what I like most about it. And other car nuts asking "just what colour IS that anyway" is always a good conversation starter on the car in general.
