Default Shocked myself!

Opened the car up for the first time. l;aksjdfl;kasdjf!!!!!!!!

I am stunned, tire squeal all the way through third gear off the line, traction control ON! I had to remind myself to breathe, but of course, the launch only took a few seconds.

What an incredible machine!

Switch the TC off you will get a better launch and it will still help out if something goes wrong.

I have mine permanently on dyno mode....Wish I had an LSD though N4PWJ, it handles quite sweetly ,although the steering is a bit sharp at the end of the lock.Definetely try it!! It so no big deal for a caterham driver. No problems with the engine, although I have still not worked out whether brake bias is slightly affected (abs is off allong with esp and all the ridiculous elctronics ).I seem to brake in a straight line though every time

My dad used to have some muscle cars back in the days... he lost his love for cars in the 80's.

But the other day, I took him for a spin in the SLK55. He lost 30 years by the time he got out of the car. He has decided to call my car "Time Machine."

I swear, if he buys one, I'll probably find him cruising the streets at night and hitting on the chicks 1/2 his age at all the local pubs. Good thing it's too expensive to race for pink slips.

Shocked, then what do you think about the Kleemann S8. I had a ride in one last year and it was scary fast for god's sake, On the way back to the hotel I was driving around 70kmh in the rental toyota.

Thats awsome dude. Took off from a red light for the first time in sport mode this week and found out there was another gear called first. I guess comfort does 2nd gears starts or the mode change does something.

Are you running stock tires because with TC on it squals the BFG 255/35 KDW's pretty bad at the top of first but after that it just seems to hold firm. Haven't turned the TC off yet but have only had the car for a few weeks. I love the car just because I can daily drive it in "C" and it is mild and comfy but change it to "S" and hit the pedal and it feels like a totally different car. Missing my 6spd stick less and less everyday.

Ok sorry <end hijack>

Vitamin, i find that driving in'C' is actually worse for your mpg, 'S' mode actually returns better figures believe it or not!! only time i use 'C' is when car is really cold fom start and i dont want to over rev. otherwise it's 'S' permanently, and 'M' when really giving it juice.

ierax...permanently in Dyno mode? i must try it, im not scared of the car, i think i can handle it no probs, but it's the fact that i might overheat it or something. i might check it out some dry night first, just to see.
