| Fourteen months ago, I washed and clay barred our '04 320 (pre-nano technology paint), then applied Autoglym Radiant Wax Polish (a chemical cleaner, glaze, and filler), then applied Autoglym Hardwax 1 (a liquid carnauba wax containing other ingredients). On all my washes until today (June 5, 2008) the water formed into small beads easily removed with a high power electric leaf blower. Today, the horizontal surfaces did not bead, and would not dry with the blower. So I applied the Autoglym Hardwax 1. Shine and beading restored. Also the Hardwax by itself cleaned off what little "scratchy" contaminates on the paint. So, for cars that are garaged or otherwise protected when not in use, I feel that I have found that elusive car wax that only has to be done once per year. And as usual with Autoglym products, my re-wax was very fast and easy. The jury is still out on our SLK (with nano technology paint) because we've only had it for a little under eight months. But I can say that I washed it today also, and all surfaces beaded in small beads that were easily removed with the blower |

| Autoglym is known to be topnotch, AstonMartin uses them for their cars.

| As well as Autoglym Hardwax1 being long lasting, the Radiant Wax Polish does some neat tricks too. If surface contamination with "scratchy" particles isn't severe, this product will remove them -- saving you a clay bar job. Also, on non-clearcoated cars where the color has faded badly, an application of Radiant Wax Polish after a machine polishing will restore most of the original color. I saw this happened in detailing an older model Mercedes sedan which appeared to be charcoal in color. After this treatment, the car turned out to be black!
