| We bought a new '07 SLK 280 last November. Have garaged it, and have about 2K miles on the odo. Since it was delivered, I have had but one serious complaint about it. The finish of the interior leather and MB-Tex is way beyond "flat", and I would call it "dead." I mean, it is SOOOO flat in its finish that every little dust particle and finger print will show up. And, I don't really like that look. I don't want a shiny leather interior, but would like a nice matte finish. Now I have tried various leather cleaners and conditioners, and have used 303 on it, and everything I do seems to be very temporary. Has anybody else had this problem, and does anybody have a product to recommend that will fix it? |

| I would probably try using a good quality leather conditioner (e.g. Lexol or the like) every month for 6 months and see if it moisturizes the leather enough to give it a slight sheen rather than a dead flat look.
