Default Interesting video on Meguiar's quick detailer

I do not use this thing but just came across the site and found it interesting. I think I may try it after watching the video. BTW, Mercedes OEM Meguiar's car care products.

Thank's, I haven't tired that but I do use their Gold class rich leather cleaner and conditioner and it really works well for a good interior clean, adds a nice smell and the leather becomes very smooth and soft.

I have used it an like it very much. Smells great too. I used the regular quick detailer before and it was so so but this new stuff is fantastic. Use it with a good quality towel helps.

Bought it and used my C and M class as guinea pigs. Took less than 10 minutes for each car, after I'm done, the only question I have is why would I need to wash or wax my cars?

So impressed that I bought a case off eBay real cheap, now I can afford to wipe my car down every other day if I want to.

If you use it pretty often then the only time I can see it needing a wash is if you drive in the rain and it gets all that grime on it. I know some people don't have to drive theirs in the rain but unfortunately I do so it happens.

On the waxing topic. I still think the car will get where it has mild swirl marks or very light scratches in it. If/when that happens it will need to be clay bar'ed, swirls removed, and then sealed or waxed (technically a sealant is synthetic and a wax is natural).

Not at all sure how that whole process differs for you Zaino people. I use Meguires Mirror Glaze pro line with a combination of Meguires and 3m pads on a Porter Cable orbital buffer.

I used the Meguires NXT wax shortly after buying the 55 and it worked great. I have since got into using Griots Garage products and they are fantastic. I bought one of their orbital buffers and specialty polishes and waxes recently but haven't had a chance to try it out. Thay have about anything you could possibly want at their website but it's not the cheapest stuff. So far all of the products I've used from them work very well.

Default How does this product compare to a clay bar lubricant?

I suspect that this product may work with a clay bar. I usually run out of the clay bar lubricant in a clay bar kit before I am ready to retire the entire clay bar itself.

make sure they are chamois, alacantra/suede and microfiber so it reduces your likely chances of having swirl on the paint. I think you can get it from Meguiars as well.

I am using it with the Meg's supreme shine microfiber (I think thats what they call them). Anyway their microfiber clothes. They have satin type edging and no tags as to not scratch.

Yes thats the one, its very good and absorbs water well which reduces your chances of water spots on some parts of the car like the bonnet and trunk.
