| Oy! I did it again! Pulled too far into a parking space in the 55 and I hear a horrible scrape. Yes, this is the second time that I scratched the air dam below the bumper. Then it came to me... why not use that transparent film normally used for a rock guard and slap that puppy underneath the bumper? Has anyone tried it? Is there one that fits? I'd imagine that the film is too tough to trim with scissors or a razor blade. |

| Good idea, it would probably need replacing after a scrape tho mate because its a lot weight pressing down on it but it should shield the dam.

| Well, it's probably better to replace that film every few months than get a new paint job on the bumper. I could solve the problem by not parking so close, but this morning, I was not paying attention. |

| I wonder if someone has access to X-pel products like this one: http://www.autosportcatalog.com/inde...id=332&cid=105 One can cut a section to fit the bottom of the bumper.

| Not worth it, I have them on my M3 and had to rip them out and put in new ones all the time, Once they scape, they start to peel, looks horrible, more work then just getting it re-paint every few years.
