Ok, got some Mobil 1 SuperSyn European Formula 0w-40 tonight. Stated on the back of the bottle that it is OEM for AMG vehicles. Dropped 1/2qt in and the meter went to 7.7qts. I will drive it tomorrow and follow the proceedures you stated Dan. Probably have to add a tad more but it is pretty close now.

Now it sounds like I have a broken sway bar endlink or something like that in the rear beind the drivers seat. Not sure if that is common but something is making a squeeking sound when I swerve back and forth in the lane. I can also make it happen if I rock the car side to side. Oh well I have an appt at the local dealer to look at that, lube the top seals, and see why the spoiler is loose on the left side. I sure hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
