| For the interior I tried EagleOne Nano-Protectant which is a one-step deal that did a good job cleaning the doors and chairs with minimal rubbing where dirty. Took about a half-hour to fully dry with the top down. The finish is clean, dry, and non-glossy. Two weeks later no negative signs, no dust build up. It leaves a strong armorall like smell the first few hours then the lingering odor goes away over the next day. The Nano Quick Detailer works well and leaves a nice smooth feel. Bird bombs begin too disolve/loosen within seconds and wipe easily. Bugs on nose drop off or wipe off almost as quickly as bird bombs but takes a couple of sprays and 30 second soaks to remove some of the more stubborn bug stains; the most stubborn required dabs of TurtleWax Bug & Tar remover concentrate followed with Quick Detail to appy some nano wax. I did my first wash (I normally don't wash the car myself) of the SLK using TurtleWax Zip Wash and Wax, some spots took multiple passes with light rubbing to get the dirt off; solution seems to be very mild in strength. Dries easily with a syntetic chamois. |

| Try the Meguiars Gold Class Rich leather Cleaner and Conditioner, Works like Magic and Cleans the leather after Jeans stains especially those with brighter interior equipped SLK's. Not only that but it also conditions the leather so that it becomes stronger and doesnt crack in the summer from the heat.

only problem is that if the car isn't well waxed under or needs a good wax then you ru the risk of putting swirl marks into your paint. | |

| I'm a big fan of Meguiars products and use the detailer a lot for touch-up cleaning, but even with their wax I had swirl marks and I was using Micro cloth. Anyhow I finally used some wax called Royal Blue I forgot that I had it. It works great no swirl marks only takes about an hour to do the car and it has been on all winter and still going strong.
