Default Nav Screen Protectors

I was wondering if anyone got this or similar product:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Navig...spagenameZWD1V

Seems pricey for a little sheet of film........then again, I cant seem to find any alternatives. Screen is getting pretty scratched up.
thank you.

Ivy, its easy - u don't have a touch screen on COMAND, so . . . don't touch it - mine is two years old now, and not a mark on it - same as my laptops...

Ivy, I highly recommend the Nav screen protector. I bought one many months ago off eBay. It was cut specifically for the SLK. I paid around $8 with shipping. The one I received was not the correct size. I went back to the seller with the exact dimensions and he sent another, to my specifications. It's easy to install, looks great, and easy to keep clean. I agree with Woolly don't touch the screen. Check eBay for a better price. Get the exact dimension and order.

On my BMW, I've got a Navigator II GPS, aka Garmin 2620, with a touch screen - no protector on it, I use it both with & without gloves, any greasy paw marks just wipe straight off - I've not yet come across an LCD with such an easy clean screen.

hahaha~sorry if I'm disappointing, but the only thing I notice about my nails is a lot of dirt from playing football with my dog......
the dog has long nails though....?
I think I might give the screen protector a try. Hope it stays in place....

keep us posted Ivy. The dog (forgot his/her name) will be a good product tester.

Will do - you know its not only the dog (lexi), most of my passengers assume its touch screen and start pressing it~ but i'd rather take fingerprints over scratches.....
It will be a goods tester for anyone else who transports dogs or kids? hehe

Thank You !

Of course, she (it's a she, her name is Bella) comes regularly with me and end of December, we are going to the south of Spain (3300km).

She has even her own set of luggage... for her food, bowls, etc... which are taking the passenger foot well and ids just the same hight as the seat (more space for her to lye down)

You should also post some pics of Lexi

Good looking pooch P.A.

I miss having dogs. We had a Chow Chow, Lhasa Apso and a ****zu-Poodle mix several years ago. (That editing software kills me.) They were our "family". A woman took all three together when we were forced into a "smaller" situation. It was an extremely hard decision to make. But we were happy at least they didn't get separated.
