| Okay, I think I have a real problem with the wipers. On our recent trip they had to work a lot a couple of times. One time, the wipers stopped in the middle of the window. I had to pull over and turn the car off and on to get them to reset. I thought it just a one time anomaly. But today, it went whacko again. I had to turn them full on for them to start again. And then, when I turned them off, they continued to go. Is this something that the car would record because almost certainly it won't be reproducible at the shop? Is there a specific module somewhere that they would just replace? Or is this going to be a complex thing to fix? FWIW, these are the rain sensing wipers. It almost seems like the wipers are losing track of where they are and thinking they are at the lowered and off position. |

| Sorry, this new section location causes me to miss this sometimes. It could be the wiper motor with the position sensor or the driver side signal acquisition module, thats all that pops into my head as one module faults but its not to say that its that simple it could be a fault in the combination switch for example but i would expect those sort of things to cause the wipers to go to park. Faults should be recorded unless its some internal glitch.
