Default Indicators not flashing

I've been having occasional problems withe the indicators and hazrds not flashing, remaining on.

Problem kept rectifying itself but its getting worse. I suspect the indicator relay, does anyone know where it is

Thanks

Guido

Should have a fuse map with it mate, it will contain the info you need.

Normally in the primary fuse box.

Hi Guido

I located this forum by googling for this same problem. Did you ever find the location of the flasher unit?

I don't know what source of info the earlier reply referred to - I did :rtfm: but the manual is f all use! And a big reference diagram the garage has not much better - seemed to locate it in huge box of electrics at back right of engine compartment vieweed from front of ocar - but where if in there?

I fear it may be sone electronic flash which will bankrupt me!

HELP ANYONE!

Default Blinkrelais

Thanks Gabus - that should be a great help. I presume it is the "bliknrelais" I want - and can guess what that means. Do I need to know what the other thing in red is? ???triefen?

Interestingly, my RHD car has the battery and that box on the other side - presumeably to be near steering wheel.

Photoshop + Ein bischen wortbucharbeit suggests to me that the "blechstreifen" are "striped plates".

I presume referred to in text.

Anyone know what they do?

There should be contact between the output on the relay and the "metal strips"
