smartkey not functioning

Dan, I have almost everything working correctly...350 ECU, 280 Trans valve body/module, 280 cluster and ignition. Runs, shifts, and drives perfectly. My last problem(crossing fingers) is the fact that my smartkey does not work. Any ideas on where to start diagnosing what might be wrong. The batteries are good. At this point I would be curious if there is some way to open the fuel door without the smartkey working? The smartkey worked when everything was a 280....Thanks.

Thats a weird one, it starts using the key right?

sorry to bother...I fixed it this morning. The bodyshop had broken the antenna connection...easy fix. They probably unscrewed the antenna before disconnecting it to paint. Thanks.

Was gonna sugest the signal was at fault, glad you've sussed it.
