Dan,
I am a new guy here, I just purchased a 1999 SLK 230 K about 8 months ago about 40k miles on it.
To give you a run down I replaced the PSE about 2 months ago, because I found major corrosion on it and the alarm was going nuts all the time. Once I installed the new PSE, everything worked fine again, but the alarm horn would go off constantly, so I pulled the #9 fuse, to get the horn to stop temporary.
Now here are the other issues I have:
1. My doors won't lock or unlock using the remote, but they will unlock and lock when I use the switch under the radio in the car.
2. The Anti-tow switch light stays on all the time now.
3. The fog lights and rear running lights flicker (come on and go off)occasionally(while the car is sitting in the driveway), and while they flicker and come on I hear a small noise from the headlight switch to the left of the steering wheel.

Any help would be much appreciated,,,,
