Default Heated Seats

Dan,
On my '05 SLK350 the back of the seat on both sides heats but the bottom of the seats do not heat up. Is this the way it is suppost to work?
Thanks,

R170's were (in)famous for the cushion element going out, hopefully they fixed that for R171's!

i bought a new truck last month. it can heat either just the back or the back and the butt. even tho it's just a chevy, it has some nice things that even my 171 doesn't have. the nav is touch screen, it has remote start, tire pressure sensors/display and power adjustable pedals.

sorry for the highjack...
