computer function

I have a 06, 280 and have noticed that I can not bring up the function that control
langauge, easy entry, mirror adjust parking and day time running lights through the steering wheel, I can get radio, time date, speed and temp etc. I plan a trip to the dealer and am wondering if this could be as simple as computer software update.

If the menu's don't show then its probably a new cluster job, software might help but it should not have disappeared in the first place.

Dan, thanks for your usual quick responce, if not too much trouble, could you explain where the cluster is and what is entailed, is it seperate from what shows the speed, temp, etc, is it a seperate control.

Hey,

See the pic of the 599 in my avatar thats the cluster.

Same in the SLK everything in the pod above the steering wheel is called the cluster and it comes out as one part.
