| How do I remove the grille that houses the driving / fog light? I see a 12mm bolt and a (phillips type) screw. Must these be unscrewed? (I wanted to upload a pic but I dont know how - Quick upload doesnt lat me browse.) Is it so that the latest SLK's do not have the option of going into the Command system? I want to have video on the go and have tried the "hidden menu" info I got from this forum, but it does not work on my car! Pitty? Any other way? Regards W |

| IIRC, the procedure for getting into the engineering menu works only for European spec COMAND that are model year 2005 and maybe early 2006.

| Ditto, Engineering mode has now been removed. Not sure i understand the fog light question sorry. To upload an image select post reply (don't use the quick reply feature) then pick on manage attachment's and you will see the needed options.

| You have to remove the bottom engine compartment paneling at front. Then you can disconnect the connector (1), remove the screws (2) and it should be ok.
