What wheel comes with the UK version SLK 55? Is it the AMG five spoke 18" wheel? If so, that wheel is one of my favorites. I have it on my wife's SLK 350. They look great and are easy to clean. The first link, those 19" wheels are just like the standard 18" AMG multi spoke wheel that come on the USA version SLK 55. They look OK, but are tough to clean. I took mime off the first week I had my car. The second link, you're paying a premium for true AMG wheels. I have the same style wheel (in replica) 19" one piece shipped with Michelin PS 2 tires for $2550 (USD). If money isn't any issue, get the genuine AMG wheels, if it is, go with the replicas. I'm happy with mine. Good luck.

The first one is from CL, it will not fit. I'm not sure about the second one. You should get TSW Bremma if you look the style of the 2nd one, they are only $1,000 from euroteckmotorsports.com

Hi -1-, We get the 18" multispokes as standard in the UK too but the 18" 5 spokes are a no cost option. I do like the look of the 18" performance pack multipiece wheels but MB want £1600 to upgrade and I was thinking of maybe getting the 19" (as 2nd ones above). That way I could have 2 sets to swap and change (or even ebay the standard ones). I guess I need to go away and price up the 19" tyres now.

Thanks for the input guys!

Just a thought but seeing as the first set are 19" AMG 16 spoke wheels there is no chance that these could possibly be the same wheels as on the Black Series SLK?

I just thought that seeing as the Black Series is produced in such limited numbers it would be pretty expensive to have special wheels manufactured for it and couple that with what AMG have just recently done with the US 08 SLK55's brakes (tight b******ds) it could be a possible explanation.

Also add to that the wheels on ebay are pretty reasonably priced, considering they come with tyres, and you can see why I might be hoping that's the case!!

Just wishful thinking then! I suppose I'll have to wait for them to be released and sell a number of my body parts to pay AMG for the privilege.

The style is similar but the black series wheels are more polished than they are and the part number is available for the CL type, the black series ones are still hidden away.
