|  What model will I be getting? Hi Dan, Me yet again! I was just wondering if the MY08 SLK55 been released yet? I've been advised my car will be delivered circa October time and if it has been released should I be getting written confirmation from my dealer what model I'll be getting? I'm just a little concerned that MB may try to palm off an older model onto me, is this possible? Thanks again Dan & best regards, Paul |

| The MB dealer couldn't put in the order in March or April 2007, only took the deposit in May and this is for model year 2008. Build date was first 10 days in July for my order. I'm fairly certain it will be model year 2008.

| No worries mate. I'm sure everything will be fine I just didn't know when the 08 model was released. Going on what's been said it looks unlikely that it will be the previous model. I'll let you have the VIN when I get it as long as you don't mind checking. I've already requested this from the dealer, just wondering when you typically receive this? |

| Well it should be available once the car is confirmed as being built and you cant make changes to it anymore.
