Default slk 32 rear noise

Hi, I have an SLK 32 amg 2002 model. When coasting or driving at low speeds around 25 mph you can hear a roaring noise coming from the rear. At higher speeds its hard to hear over road noise. THe noise doesnt change with turning as to indicate a wheel bearing. Has anyone seen carrier bearings in the rear diff fail on these models? Im pretty sure its not a tire issue. I will have to get it on a lift to try and pinpoint but sounds like a bearing issue. Thanks for any info.

MB diffs are quite reliable is it coming from the middle section of the car.

If you get it on a lift and run it up to speed should be easy to tell.

The noise does seem to come from the middle of the car, rear of the seats. I have turned left and right to try and determine a wheel bearing but the noise didnt change. Also there isnt any gear whine. I will try to get it up soon and listen.
