Default C32 AMG front and rear brake kits for 200 kompressor

As I want to go with Kleeman for my M271 engine in the near (inşallah) future, for better performance and especially for the looks in my 19" rims I want to get AMG front and rear brake kits. Slkfans put C32 AMG brake kits to his car long ago and the car was looking perfect. I think C32 brake kit set up is 13" disks for the front and 4 pistons, 55 AMG have 13.4" discs and 6 pistons. 55 AMG's price is I think more than double of C32 and the discs are just 0.4" bigger . There wont be any beasts in my engine whatever way I modify it so I think C32 AMG brake setup will be suitable for me. I talked to the local MB service here but they don't know which part I have to get for the front and rear C32 brake kits.

More than a month ago Ynot wrote that he wanted to get 55 AMG brake kits but did not know the part numbers. My thread will be similar to his thread. I don't know the part numbers for C32 AMG brake kit setup and also I will appreciate the prices for each part. You wrote down the parts for Ynot but did not put the prices there. If you can also find the prices for 55 AMG( w/o 030 package) brake setup, it will be clear for me to choose.

Here are the pics of
1. 55 AMG front caliper
2. C32 AMG front caliper
3. 55 AMG rear caliper

That front caliper of 55 AMG really looks nice with 6 pots How much is that Dan? Or can I use 4 pot 55 AMG rear caliper with C32 brake disk setup for front and rear? Or should I get 55 AMG brakes without hesitation? Money plays a role in this part, but there is no rush...

If you have the PN#, most of the price can be found on that website I had in the tread. Can't recall the website now. Price isn't too bad, I was going to do it but decided not too. It will mostly be for looks, the 350 brakes were adequate.

Inshallah, you will get them as I think they are more than suitable for your SLK and I dont think the 55 calipers are necessary.

Good thinking and can we say Mabrook In advance?

Hey,

The C32 parts should do the trick i think the 55's will be overkill for what your planning on.

I will get the parts lists for the brakes and obviously they are compatible as it has been done before but as for what parts from the SLK are used and what parts from the C i don't know so when i get time i will post up the list for the C brakes from the C32 page.

The original 350 break is a Brembo one, Diclehen. Try the 350 break, its strong enough and the following costs are much cheaper than from AMG parts.

Diclehana, if you're thinking about the 350 brake calipers for the front, the parts nos are: 002 420 83 83 and 002 420 84 83. (I forgot which one is left and which one is right). PM Ierax, who upgraded the front brakes to the 350 on his SLK 200 IIRC. It was a direct swap.

Looks like Gero got it.

The 350 brakes sounds good too, Id compare prices and if the 350 brakes are cheaper jump on it

With 19" rims even 350's breaks will be small, but it is of course cheaper. I am between 55 Amg, C32 AMG and Brembo's front brake kits. C32 AMG's calipers are small but I think the disks are bigger than 350 and maybe they are in same price range
