Default Retrofit Choices

There are a few extra things that I wished my car had (apart from red leather interior!!) which I wonder if they can be retrofitted.
Things like:
Automatically folding mirrors
The reverse mirror function (when mirrors automatically tilt at reversing)
The remote garage opener memory buttons
The tyre pressure warning system

In some of them it's obvious that new hardware is also needed, but can they be programmed to function from the ECU?

Are there any other little things that can be added without having to spend a fortune or even simply by enabling an option in the ECU?
.

That's been done by one of member at mbworld.org, try a search, I can't recall his name right now. From what I can remember it wasn't too hard of an install.

OK mate,

Auto Folding Mirrors - New mirror housings and control loom along with a new console control switch and coding not too hard of an install but not something that can be done easy at home.

Reverse Mirror Function - Should be on your car as standard the manual should tell you how to set the reverse position and then you can enable it using the cluster.

Remote Door Opener - Plug and play job can be done at home without many problems.

Tire Pressure Warning - Can be enabled in about 5 minutes using the dealers star diagnosis machine no hardware required it uses the ABS sensors.

Another one i can think of is the volume remaining in tank option that can be enabled using the SDS

"Dinko" was the MBworld member that installed the garage door opener. It is a simple job. I looked into it months ago. I believe it cost $350 which I figured was not worth it. I have a small keychain remote that easily fits in the ashtray. Many manufacturers offer small keychain remotes for $20 or so.

Yeah it's good enough it uses the same info from the SAM as the gauge does it just shows you the actual volume.

no way, that's the only green I would get for a Lambo. Lambo's only looks good in outrageous bright colors anything less isn't a lambo. IMO.

To be fair - I do agree with you - thats the only green for a Lambo,- unlike metallic BROWN Ferraris - yes, they do exist

Are you feeling it now?

I think that's enough to convince you actually I was never a fan either but lately it looks great, if not then there is a yellow one in the background from my first pic. *woah, my post almost took the entire page*

Very nice, but there no point in having a small, cramped sports car where you can't drop the roof

Nah still cant get my head around the green.

Ferrari's are red (Can possibly get a yellow so long as your over 40)
Jag's are green
Merc's are silver
Lambo's are yellow
Maserati's are blue

Its a lovely car don't get me wrong a real beautiful machine but i would still feel like i am driving an Audi so i would need everything to be mega extravagant to help me forget and there's nothing like getting blinded by your paintwork to help out.

F me. That is ridiculous but I love it. I gotta say... I'm quite envious. He had a nice SLK55, then CLS55, now this?! What the F? I think he's 25 or so. Where's the money coming from?!

I also detest green...
...BUT this green and in this car is AMAZING!!

My favorite color for the Galliardo though, would have to be that metallic orange they have!!

PS. By the way those are some excellant photos! Very pro job! Thanks for posting Ynot.

Yes, or rather, I'd take the Lambo, sell it probably at 1/3 of its value new even with 2 miles on the clock and would buy myself an SL55....
