Default SLK R170 Phone prewiring

Hi Danslk,

I read and heard many things that your knowledge is great about SLK 's

I post several messages at other MB forums to get info for SLK R170 phone prewiring but couldnt get sufficient info.

I have SLK230 manufactured in 2001 for Japanese market as 2002 model, I want to add phone to my vehicle but I discovered there is no phone pre-wiring is it possible to email me any detail, wiring diagram which can help me to install phone pre-wiring?

I intent to buy argos or mikbox tool which let you use your cell phone with SLK. if I could install pre-wiring (including microphone) I 'll be able to use my cell phone in the car safely.

my email is

ali@akterlaw.com

cheers

I am afraid the only way to install the pre-wiring is to basically strip out your interior theres no simple way of doing it.

Its a very big job

cyp...you should look into the Parrot CK3000 Evolution. I'd lay money its far less a headache than OEM pre-wiring.

Dan? Care to comment? I'm going to order 2 Parrots for both my SLK and the wife's Vue and I'm guessing I may need some wiring info for the head unit as well...the SLK that is.
