Default OEM Stock Wheels

Does anyone here know if the stock one piece SLK 55 wheels are cast or forged?
And if they were cast were they low presure cast or gravity cast?
I am going to powder coat them if they are *LP Cast or Forged,

Thanks ahead for any info, or advice...

Have a good weekend...

Cyberdrakon had his OEM ones painted but IIRC, it can be powder coated as well.

I am NOT certain. Low pressure cast comes to mind. Let's wait to hear from others that are knowledgable on this subject.

i BELIEVE they are gravity cast like most stock wheels, but i'm not sure. It's a light wheel when you compare to other stock wheels, but it's in no way comparable to a high quality forged wheel that's meant to be strong and light.

Painted. It's hard to match colours with powder coating, and honestly, it's a waste of money for an OEM wheel. Tire shops will scratch your rims no matter what, and with paint at least it's easy to touch up.
