Well the headers are installed, however the car is not with me yet as they are still installing the downpipes and welding it to the rest of the system.

I hope there wont be a CEL because removing the primary catalytics will do, since I've got the ecu upgraded a long time ago before the exhaust work I think it will adapt itself to the new changes. The last thing I want is to spend more money for another tune.

Will keep you up to date, tomorrow is a busy day for me so I will try to take a quick lunch break and head to the dealership to checkup on its status.

Headers installed today no check engine lights,

The tech told me to drive it for a while so that we see if the CEL would pop out on the odo, if yes then we will have to move the sensors to the rear of the secondary catalytics.

Thanks, I am happy that Kleemann of Denmark provide a phenominal service. I called them yesterday and I left my name, number and car model at the reciption in which I got a call an hour later guiding me through the installation process.

Well, I am going to get the car tomorow and do hope CEL light wont pop up after the ecu ugets used to the new upgrades.

Close to anything loud, guy's I am like you I am waiting for the sound clip to hear it in person, to drive it and to see your responses after the make over.

I am excited like guys you are, a tease for now......... expect a handful of pictures as the tech told me to bring a flash memory card to upload the pictures.

Today is a day I will truly remember for the rest of my life,

I am extremely moved with the joy that I received when I got my precious SLK 55 home. Let me first start of by telling you how powerful the car is at the moment, you've got to experience the torque curve to see how fast my baby monster catapults from the lower rpm's to its 6,700 rpm. The car is one ultimate sleeper if you are judging it by its looks, however open the tap and this thing will move like there is no tomorow, I was patiently waiting at the service counter in all silence reading the Mercedes Middle east magazine when I heard a thundering growl that is getting closer and closer. I said sounds familiar, like a mother recognizing her childs voice however it has matured and sounds even louder and deeper.

I told the service assistant I will be back shortly, I went out and saw my beautiful pride and joy parked outside glistering nicely showing of its nice metallic dark brown hue in Kuwait's hot daylight. I was lost, didnt know what to say and how to thank them for providing me with this terrific service; we then took the car for a drive and wow, the SLK has really gotten more powerful and I can assure you that I can feel the change in performance.

For any of you would like to do upgrades, Kleemann is a great company as they have called me a couple of times during this process directly from Denmark and I appreciate them for checking with their customers. I know its been a long long time since I've created this thread, but the end the wait is worth it as I am really torn up how to start and end this narrative. Its like waiting for your newly ordered SLK to arrive but in a shorter time line.

I am more than thankful for having the opportunity to have a nice car at this life time and I owe it all to hard work and determination in work. I think this might be my last modification as things are getting more expensive to upgrade it to the next level which are cams, supercharger and lsd.

Well, I always go with this saying " Be thankful for what you've got" and I am really blessed and very excited that I didnt get the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT after many attempts of having to be the Stig around the streets next to the dealership and at home.

I hope you've enjoyed my narrative as I've tried my best to write it in a short time because I know you guys are tempted to read it as soon as possible due to the long wait.

For those of you who are going to modify now or in the near future, I'd stick to professionals in the industry like Kleemann,renntech, carlsson, brabus and the other european tuners. What ever that they may be, you will be one satisfied customer at the end of the day.

Well, I've enjoyed keeping you up to date in the last few months and I really have to go to work right now.
