Lots of net traffic on this car. Just noticed the high marketing effort by AMG as well. First thoughts are over priced based on performance ROI, but then learned the LFA is going to be $200K plus in the US. Madness.

The burning question is:

Could you install the SL63 motor/trans + ECU/TCU in an slk55?

It can but needs lots of chassis adjustments, the engine could need to be squeezed in order to fit its two fuel pumps.

I test drove the SL55 a while back, but I can hardly wait to drive this beast... I wonder if it's available for test drive?

I would like a to get a pre-2009 SL... what AMG models are available for those... just the 55 and 65?

Was the 63 put in only the 2009 SL?

Yes, the SL63 is only for the second facelift model 2009.

that's what i heard ~ LF-A with $200K tag... i will be cracking out if it's loses to GT-R...^_^!!

i also heard there is entry level version of hard top ferrari ~ stay tune ~

by the way~

what's honda doing???

where is new conecpt? ( not that ugly crappy ones HSC and after...-_-)

That's crazy, $200K for a Lexus, when they first talked about it, it was estimated at $100K, then $150K, now $200K, I don't think the GT-R can beat it. It's going to be much lighter, the GTR is a fat pig, V10, 550bhp, that thing sounds like a F1 car.

Honda's rolling out with hybrids, lots of them,

actually the LFA is priced to be at 225,000 thats quiet alot when I can get a new F430 over here for that price.

How much is the GT2? That is what I would get at that price.

GT2 around 58 thousand kd so that is around 190,000 usd and its even cheaper in Dubai close to a fully loaded 997 TT in the U.S
