07 SL550 production

Tried to look up the 07 on the Mercedes Site they are not there anymore they do bring up a picture of the 08 SL but say that no info is available for this model at this time --- maybe I bought the Mars Red at the right time

Sorry to break this to you, but MB is working on a Second Facelift for the SL which will come out in 2009.

Well if they do change the body that just means we will have a 'Classic" that much sooner

Can see the letter designation of the Mohammed Model
"MA63 Designo ----AMG"

Thank you, Since I was a kid I loved exclusive cars or any fun sports car.
Loved the likes of the Lamborghini Diablo, F40, F355 and so on!

Thought the SL is a nice car and is a classic for sure, just hang to it

i've seen the new spyshots of the 09 SL models. the 09 SL models will supposedly have CLS-style lights to go with a new grille on the same body design. it will be a nice update, considering how much i hate those C/CLK/E/SL-style double headlights. those headlights are the only thing that is keeping me from maybe even considering the SL as my next car. oh yeah, the 4200-4300 pounds of curb weight on a two seater doesn't help either.

Gabus -- If this is the change they go for then I'm happy with mine ---- don't like the single bar grill and the lower air damn configuration looks out of step with each other and those wrap around headlamps look out of place ----- maybe I'm just used to the the more convential look of the SL's
