My right mirror turn signal lens has a crack on the inside, along the lower edge of the lens. It's not really noticeable, unless you look closely, but the service manager saw it immediately, and did not question it at all. I looked at my SL's mirrors over the weekend (identical units) and now I'm wondering whether or not the left lens might also be cracked. Dan, I'm so sorry about your transmission/engine problems, but I admire your can-do attitude, and am confident that when you have finished, your car will be a world-beater.
