We know that an SL with the V-12 is in our future but not for the sound I'm just got a bug that I want one before my age prohibits me. Have heard both 63 and 65 AMGs and they both have a distinct sound the 12 seems to purr more than rumble.
The resonators that stay in the garage have made the Cruzer a little louder we can't hear them unless in a tunnel but friends that we have passed in the over 100 mph say that it is a muted rolling thunder sound.
The V-12 will have to be CPO car and is still 4 years down the road.
