Welcome! I keep my seat back almost all the way back, and I absolutely noticed it rubbing on the bulkhead. This is more of a "squeaking" sound, so I'm not sure if it's the same as what you are hearing.
As was mentioned before, move the seat forward a bit and see if you still hear the noise. |
