P.S. re the 2.25 vs 2.5 piping - I'm not sure if it was actually that big a difference stock vs the Magnaflow 10791 unit. There was really very little massaging to get it all to mate up so it's better to have the 2.5" size rather than risk the possible restriction the smaller 2.25" version "may" introduce? |
Here's a pic...rained last night so it's dirty under there *L*. The car is pretty low, so it's hard to get a good angle for a shot, but you can see the x-pipe just left of center here with the stock piping after the welds on the right.

Pipe and install altogether is right around 200 bucks (80 for the install). I had to get the pipe shipped in so it cost me a little more than what you can probably find it for if someone local to you already has it in stock.
Shouldn't affect your warranty, it's just a piece of exhaust pipe astern of the cats - doesn't affect those or anything else in any way. Other than sound
