After sitting in the garage for a couple months (procrastination is a right!

) I finally got around to getting it installed today. Brought it to a specialty hot rod shop (who do excellent one off full custom exhaust work for everything from stock resto projects to full on rail drag cars) for install, and about an hour later I was on my way. Part #10791 is not completely plug and play, they had to do a little bit of fab work to make it fit, but in the end it came out looking factory stock and I'm more than happy with the result there. Along with the new exhaust note! At idle or part throttle it really is hard to notice, but at WOT there is certainly a deeper, harder edged V8 bellow now than before. But again, nothing objectionable at all IMO - no raspiness, just the sound of a healthy V8 engine working hard.
So if you're wondering about doing this mod, and may be worrying about the new sound level being a bit objectionable - don't. 90% of the time you probably won't even notice it, and the other 10% you'll just be smiling a new ear to ear grin!
