We use a pair of horrible little pillows from IKEA which cost $1.49 each. Very embarrassing that such a premium car has uncomfortable seats. We sometimes put the seat heaters on to numb the pain!
The SLK is actually an improvement over my previous Audi TT roadster. I thought I was going to die driving down from NYC to Washington DC in the TT, but in the SLK it wasn't too bad at all. Overall though, seat comfort has a lot to do with your size and weight. I think smaller people are much more comfortable, while larger overweight people, like me, might have some problems.
In August, we're going to try driving from NYC to Chicago, central Illinois, then Cincinnati to visit family and friends. Myself, a passenger, and my dog. Around 2,100 miles round trip. |
