Woah. Something is making contact. Like mentioned above, raise the car and see if the rear tires can rotate freely. Problem is, you will have to leave the E-brake off and put the car in neutral. Otherwise, the rear tires will not spin. I would find a flat surface and use several blocks of wood. In addition, lift the car just enough so that the rear tire only clears the ground.

I just wonder where is it making contact? Is the E-brake somehow engaged? Is the tire making contact with the shock?

Better figure this out sooner than later.
