It can,
I drove an ABT GTI with a flash, air intake and exhaust which helps it produce another 40hp.
I felt that its quicker than the SLK280 we had off the line but since the GTI is flashed, the topspeed can go over 240kmh which is where it was limited at from the factory.
The R32 isnt much faster off the line if you look at some video's posted on youtube, however it does look nice at the back but the front grill is too tame with all of the chrome.
