Where I live, the official Government figures (2007) for a physician's salary (general practitioner) are:
Minimum $80,730 / year
Maximum $100,220 / year
The SL starts at $135,000. As we speak, our dollar is worth $0.98US. Do the math. We may have a great health-care system, but our doctors are not the wealthiest in the world.
