The note is a bit more of a screamer than the 5.4L - to be expected with it's higher rpm range, but it still has a deep burbling rumble that can only be achieved with a large displacement V8 exhaling through a nicely tuned exhaust. I can only imagine what this engine will do in a several hundred pound lighter SLK, if such a beast ever shows up!
