DSB gets the Sherlock Holmes award... you nailed location and timeframe in every detail.

I'd really like to take credit for the work, but the truth is that the car was detailed at the dealer. After a service visit almost a year ago that I was not pleased with, I gave honest, constructive input when asked about my experience. This wasn't the first not so great experience at that dealership, so they comp'd me a detail (to go with the golf bag they comp'd me for that same visit.
I'm happy to report that my last two times at the same dealer resulted in exceptional service. I was very pleased to let them know this too.
