The hose that's on the 350 and 280 is the part load crankcase ventilation line, its hardwired on the 55 so the hose does not exist hence it not being the 55 tutorials.
KTown, You'd be very lucky mate because speaking as a dealer myself you open yourself upto a whole load of crap from both MB and the customer if something goes wrong.
Say a filter failed for example and damaged the engine, MB would look at it and say tough so then the customer turns to the dealer and blames them because they fitted it.
You might be able to convince one to do it if you get some sort of waiver that removes any responsibility from the dealer.
But for the case of 8 screws i would just DIY.
