Lots of great tips here.

I'll just add a few comments in regards to washing...

-Like Etyu, I wash the wheels/exhausts first as opposed to last. When you wash your wheels last, your car will begin to dry leaving spots. Not a good thing.

-I use 2 seperate buckets. One marked 'car' and the other marked 'wheels.' I never want to get dirt and grime from the wheels onto the car. Of course, I have dedicated towels and brushes for the wheels too.

-I first use a leaf blower to dry the car. Afterwards, I use 100% cotton bath towels. The same is used for washing the car. This large towel is much more effective than a small sponge. I picked up this tip from Zaino.

-I use Zaino products for most things. On the tires, I use NXT Insane Shine.

-I never use an orbital buffer. It's probably because I haven't seen it used right. I've seen a lot of cars with circular swirls. Yuck.
