Here's a different idea. Use 303 Aerospace Protectant as a tire dressing. It will not be shiny -- just a "new tire" look matte black. What it will do is to keep drying and UV rays from drying your sidewalls and causing them to get those little hair-line cracks. In my signature, you'll see a ten year old truck. It has OEM tires! Sidewalls always treated occasionally with 303, and no cracking. If you do this and want a shinier look, it is just fine to use another dressing on top of the 303. The 303 will still be there to prevent sidewall cracks. |
