If you want to restore the metal on your mufflers, you might try some hand polish, such as is sold by 3M, with a medium abrasive rating. Should this fail, there is a product called "Flitz" metal polish, which is the best I've used for polishing metals. Some internet detailing supply companies have it. Locally, I can find it at a sporting goods store that specializes in rifles and shotguns. Unfortunately, it's just one of those good products that car parts stores don't carry. |
