What bluetooth car kit? If you mean the one that integrates into the car (fits in place of a cradle) then you don't need it dealer installed.
They will charge you labour to release a cradle and slot a new one in, 2 minute job and its meant to be done by the end-user.
Part is not worth £300.
iPod kit will be a few hours work and i think £1xx something for the parts but I'm not sure about that from memory.
