I already like my SLK 350 better than his Porsche, so from that perspective, I AM THE BOSS

I have a convertible, he doesn't

I should probably drive an SLK55 to see how I would like it, but I suspect it is actually more power than I would want to try to handle (not to mention the extra money required). The 350 is already a lot of power for me.

The car I learned to drive with was a 1960 Peugeot 404. I think it had 60 hp, maybe.
