Wouldn't it be good if you could install cameras in your car so you could keep an eye on the mechanics? I'm pretty sure if Dan and NR4L got there technical abilities together they could come up with something. You could have two models a covert one, for interesting playback later, or a bloody great huge one as you open the bonnet / hood to act as a deterrent? They'd definitely think twice about pulling any strokes then!!
I always remember driving my fathers C Class some years ago when someone bump into the front of it. I didn't look like anything major so I took it to Mercedes Benz of Sheffield for a quote the guy in the repairs department started to reel off various different parts that probably would have been damaged in the impact. He then went on to give an estimate of £950.00. Even though I have a limited technical knowledge of motor vehicles I thought that it was a little excessive so I decided to get a second opinion from Mercedes Benz of Wakefield. The guy there looked at it and said all that it needed was a plastic insert which was a couple of pounds and the bumper needed realigning, total cost £65.00. Needless to say I wont be getting my car serviced at Mercedes Benz of Sheffield!! |
