See in pic 3 all the red and black wiring on the floor thats getting integrated into the main harness i am also re-working the wiring for the illuminated kickplates.
You can see the Pwr and Gnd wiring cut in 2 places on pic 2 i will be installing a Y junction one arm going to the under-dash light and the other to the kickplate thats the same on both sides.
Its just easier to strip the thing right down because you get extra space and more light flowing into the hidden areas.
