In Europe it is called "Tansanite" Blue metallic. It's only disadvantage is that under certain lighting conditions it can appear to be a dull/flat blue almost bordering on black. With the correct lighting thrown on it, it takes on the irridescent color of the stone (gem) it is named after.
I like it. But it does'nt appear to be a very popular choice in the US especially on the S-Class.

I think the reason why people don't select it so much is because you don't get the full effect of the colour in the brochure. Also although it looks awesome on the SLK I'm not entirely sure whether or not it would look good on an S class?
If Caspian Blue is Tansanite what is the US name for Benitoite Blue?
