"One friend of mine upgarded his brakes (i think he put MOVIT brakes) into his Mercedes Sport coupe and although he spent a lot of money, he wasnt satisfied at all...
I remember the ABS system of the car occuring all the time and it became very annoying at the end...I think with SLK200 and 163hp the brakes are ok, most people believe they should upgrade them just for marketing reason without a real need."

"In a prior car I owned I upgraded the brakes and that is when I started having problems, warped rotors, etc."

I would appreciate opinions on the above comments.
I was surprised by some of the comments, I know people with BBK's (Big Brake Kit's) and no one really has any problems. The only problem they have is, it doesn't stop better than OEM, but love the way it looks. I assume if you don't attach the sensors correctly then you have have problems with ABS, ESP, etc..

Warped rotors could be a result of abuse, a lot of people test their brakes after they get it installed on the track, then heat them up and when parked, pull their hand brakes.

It looks to me like an easy installation with the proper tools, of course everything looks easy until you start working on it.
