Well if the 2 center resonator's were to leave the car and 2 pieces of pipe moved into their former home ---- this is what might happen ---- exhaust sound would deepen under acceleration ---- going through tight spaces ie; tunnels , canyons would sound louder than the engine noise ---- gas mileage might improve about 1.6 mpg .
Now mind you this is what could happen, we will never say that it has or hasn't
